What winter means to me: No more pimples. Yay! Clear skin for the next few days at least, Christmas, Fresh Fruits, and end of the year shopping festivals. Most of us tend to ignore the skin thinking it causes less problems compared to summers. Skincare during winters is as important as it is during the summers.
Here are a few tips that I follow.
Winters definitetely tend to dry out the skin hence a moisturizer is a must. Use a light moisturizer if you have oily skin and a heavy one if you have super dry skin already. Never miss a body lotion or body butter at night.
2. Bath Oils
Bath Oils are great to use in the winters as they provide the sufficient oil to the skin, making it supple and soft. They help maintain the skin’s oil balance.
3. Exfoliate: Mild scrubs help exfoliate the skin and remove the dead cells. Exfoliation also cleanses the skin and makes it ready for moisturizing.
4. Lip Balm: Lip Balms are a must have during winters. Never skip it.
5. Sun protection: Never miss your sunscreen even during winters.
6. Fresh face packs:
Fresh papaya pulp, mashed banana can be used as home made face packs to maintain healthy skin during winters. I love fruit facials during winters.
