By Christina

“This three-in-one face mask cleanses, polishes and moisturises normal to dry skin.   It smoothes, refines, moisturises and conditions the skin.

I have sensitive and combination skin and for as long as I can remember my mom has been warning me to stay away from abrasive scrubs and peels. Well, one does get tempted to try out new things and this was one.  I bought it not intending to, but as usual picked it, smelt it, tried it on my hand and was sold!
Now the product is very creamy and non-abrasive.  The granules are extremely soft and sin friendly.  The problem is my skin.  I should have tried it out on my face but instead, tried in on my hand.  I got home and tried it out and in a second of application my cheeks started burning.  I immediately washed it off and saw the reddest cheeks ever.

It had burnt my cheeks the same way that facial bleach does.   I went back to TBS the next day and got the SA to apply it on me and the same thing.  It was not suiting me at all.  She said my skin is hyper sensitive and there I was stuck with it.  I did apply it to the rest of my face and that was ok but on my cheeks, sadly no.
The Body Shop Honey and Oat Scrub Mask is a product that cleanses, moisturises and polishes.  It has 3 benefits in 1 product making it a very good one indeed.  The scrubbing granules are amazingly soft.  So, soft that you can use it on a baby.  It also gives the face a nice smooth, clean and bright look.   It does what it claims and the only con is that it is not for hyper sensitive skin.
To use the scrub first cleanse your skin,  pat it dry and then apply a generous layer of the mask to the face, avoiding the lip and eye areas. Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes and then rinse off with warm water.  You can use the scrub once or twice weekly after your cleansing routine.
