How it fared:
The body Shop Almond Hand and Nail Cream comes in a thin metallic squeeze tube fitted with a small twist open cap.  Though the packaging itself works well in terms of dispensing the required amount and being travel friendly, I am not a big fan of the outer foil packaging. It is prone to dents and not a very pretty sight after few days of use. In fact, when you purchase one from the store itself chances are u already have few dents on it.
The cream is extremely moisturizing without being greasy. This means that I can use it even in between work thereby protecting my hands in the AC environment too. It gets absorbed quickly. My hands feel much softer and hydrated all day long. When I use it during the nights coupled with a glove, I am amazed how hydrated and smooth my hand looks in the morning.
The texture of the cream is lightweight and thinner than the hand butter version. It spreads easily and is easy to work with. Once absorbed, I find that the cream does not rub off into anything. Like when I touch the keyboard, I don’t find streaks on the keys. Also when I wash my hands, I don’t feel the cream slipping off and post washing too my hands remain adequately hydrated.
The cream smells of almonds and is very subtle. The mild fragrance itself fades off after sometime and thereby not being very bothersome.
After consistent use of the product, I find that my nails have also started behaving better. I don’t come across much peeling these days which wasn’t the case before. Overall I find my nails to be stronger and healthier.
The Good:
Keeps hands well hydrated
Non greasy
Quickly absorbed
Subtle almond smell
Prevents nails from peeling
Little goes a long way
The not so good:
Metallic tube packaging
Final Verdict: Except for the packaging part, I love how effective, non greasy and quick absorbing the hand cream is. I would also love to try the rose variant now!
