On my recent visit to a beauty store, I managed to get swatches for my readers of the recently launched Revlon Powder Blushes (4 shades) from the Cheek Boutique Collection & Revlon Photoready Skinlights Face Illimuniator (3 shades). Let’s get going with the swatches!
About the Revlon Powder Blushes: Revlon Powder Blush is an ultra-soft, silky powder blush that adds a natural flush of color to you cheeks. With names like Naughty Nude and Wine Not you’ll have just as much fun telling your girlfriend what shade you have on as you will wearing them. Each shade enhances cheekbones instantly with easy-to-blend, buildable color. And with an all-day wear that looks freshly applied all day, you’ll never suffer from blush.
4 NEW SHADES: Naughty Nude, Classy Coral, Haute Pink, Wine Not
Classy Coral: As the name suggests, it is a matte finished peachy coral colored blush.
Haute Pink: A bright baby pink color blush with subtle shimmer which almost non-visible in the pan but gives light sheen to the cheeks.
Naughty Nude: I love this one. It a beautiful peach toned brown almost like a light bronzer with shimmery finish.
Wine Not: I had tough time swatching Wine Not. I am not sure if it isn’t that pigmented or it was just an issue with the tester. If I go by the reviews, then it seems like a fair product. It is a berry pink color and would be suitable to many skin tones.
These powder blushes are priced at Rs. 550 each. Upon swatching I think blushes are decently pigmented and which makes it easier to work with as you can build the intensity as required.
About the Revlon Photoready Skinlights Face Illuminator:
- Instant illumination, long luminosity.
- Crystal complex with vitamin A, C and E evens skin tone for all over radiance.

Really excited to try these out, these are basically liquid highlighters and blend seamlessly into the skin. A word of caution these are heavily loaded with shimmer particles which gives that appearance of glowing skin. Priced at Rs. 800 each. Available in 3 shades – Peach Light, Pink Light and Bare Light. I might pick up Peach Light soon!
Apart from these, Revlon also launched the Highlighting Palette and I just picked up Peach Glow. Review coming up soon!
