Sleek I-Divine Acid Palette Review, FOTD
“Dare to be different”…maybe that’s why I shifted from usual neutrals to bright neon eyeshadows. There was a time when I used to love to collect different eyeshadow palettes but day by day my choices become very consistent…and now I usually collect those that I think is worth buying or I can utilize that palette totally. And while searching for good palette the first name click on my mind was “Sleek”. As sleek comes up with some good eye shadow palettes. And today I am going to review the acid palette that was added in my stash few months back.
Price: $11.99 for 12X1.1g/12×0.03oz. plus shipping.
Here few words about the Sleek I-divine palette from the brand itself: Sleek Makeup’s legendary i-Divine palettes are 12 shades of super-pigmented, long lasting, mineral based eyeshadow, designed to suit all. Each i-Divine contains pearlescent shades, which contain mica particles that highlight and illuminate giving an overall radiant effect. Acid contains a fusion of vibrant colour for the more daring. With a hyper bright pink to neon green and yellow amongst the 12 shades. Each shade can be worn alone for a dramatic look or mixed for a colourful rainbow effect.

Get creative and blend contrasting colours together or mix shimmers with matte shades. Each i-Divine includes a classic matte dark colour, great to perfect that classic smoky effect.

I usually love neutral eye shadows, but this time want to try some bright neon which are just perfect for this festive season. So I thought to grab the sleek I-divine Acid palette as I don’t have any bright shades.
The sleek I-divine acid eye shadow palette comes in 12 different shades that are mixture of mattes and shimmers shades. The sleek black case packaging is really slim and classy and sturdy for which it is travel friendly. The case lid shuts tightly with the sound of click. The eye shadows are really soft so care should be taken while handling the palette as slight mishandling leads to broken of eyeshadows which is already happened with me as you ca see the purple shade is broken a bit in this palette.
The palettes consists of bright yellow, pink, orange, blue and black and many more. As I told earlier that it is mixtures of both matte and shimmers along with a black matte shade that is perfect for creating colorful smokey eyes or to line the eyes giving a smudge look. All the shades are so bright that the palette is not meant for faint heart people.
Coming to the texture of the eyeshadows, I found few shades are little chalky in texture while few are so soft and easily blendable ones. The matte ones are bit chalky in texture so it is really tough job to blend those eyeshadows and they have fallouts too while the black one is most pigmented matte one. The shimmery blues, silver and purple are easily blendable one with no fallouts. The shades stays pretty intact on my oily lid for 6-7 hours if proper primer is used as the shades works better with primer. Over in all it is a good affordable palette that consists of mattes to shimmer eye shadows which are medium to excellent pigmentation along with primer.
Coming to the pros and cons
- Nice packaging.
- Sleek, classy black packaging.
- Travel friendly.
- Consists of bright neon shades.
- Consists of both matte and shimmery shades.
- Few shades are chalky in texture.
- The texture is powdery so not easily blendable.
- Lacks in pigmentation without primer.
- Availability in India.
Final Verdict: Although it is one of my favorite palette as now I am in love with bright neon eyeshadows but due to lacks in pigmentation and chalky texture it might not capable to steal the hearts of eyeshadow lovers.
