My take on the product:
The lip color truly meets its claim of super long stay, kiss-proof, no feathering or bleeding ;). Still am I wholly impressed? Read on…
Shade: Boundless Brandy is a muted brownish maroon shade. It is a dull and a bit frosty shade that alone can be easily worn just about any time. The clear gloss does add a bit of oomph to the shade but nothing too OTT. This color would easily suit all skin tones and I would seriously suggest the darker skin toned gals to check this out.
Packaging: The double ended twist up plastic pack of the lip color+gloss makes it compact and quite handy to carry around. The lip color has a doe shaped foam applicator while the gloss comes with a sleek brush applicator. Both make the application easy. You need not dip the applicators again and again for applying. It’s like one time application
Texture: The lipcolor is nicely pigmented and gives an opaque color in a single application. Layering up is not necessary but still it won’t make it look cakey or heavy on the lips. The clear gloss definitely adds the needed life to the shade and recommended to be used time and again.
Gloss is a bit sticky but that I match up to long staying capacity.
Staying power: It stays on and on and on. You apply the lip color once and then forget about it for the whole day. It stays on easily for 7 hours and survives whatever you eat or drink in between :P. Once it fades, It leaves a stain behind that you are advised to remove using a proper makeup remover else you can even find it on your lips the next day :P.
Gloss requires frequent re-application. It stays on for 2-3 hours at a stretch and does not survive the meals.
Pros:
Super long staying.
Pigmented
Feels light on the lips
Easy to wear kind of shade that would suit all skin tones
Lightweight and handy packaging
100% transfer proof.
Good applicators provided.
Cons:
Pricey
Stains the lips badly
You need a proper remover to get it off your lips
Dry texture so I suggest using a lip balm for sure.
Re-application of gloss is necessary to add life to the otherwise dull color.
Ratings: 3.2/5
Final Verdict: Not a must-have shade or texture for me. You can find similar kind of lip colors at half the price in other brands. If you are looking a totally transfer proof lipcolor then I do recommend these to you else these can easily be given a pass.
