PACKAGING:

Seriously what was revlon thinking while doing up these matte balms.. ofcourse they have such eye catchy easy to locate matte package.. I love it seriously, specially for the bright colors like this one the tube looks even more cute, and of course the names, they literally have given amazing adjectives to their shades thumbs up for that,it’s a twist up chubby lip crayon, that is easy to hold and feels sturdy.

SHADE:

As I said earlier it’s a bright bright blue toned pink, not fuschia, but pink, and well it’s the clossest eve due for mac impassioned, that could be found in the drugstore,if you want not so intense shade or are not comfortable in carrying bold shades. You can just da a few dots of this on ur lips and then blend is with your ring finger(always use a ring finger to blend anything on the eyes or lips as it applies the least pressure but yet does blend well, and best it doesn’t eat up ur product),doing this would give you a pretty doll stain without making u feel concerned

TEXTURE:

As the name suggests its matte finish, but  glides on the lips like a dream, but yeah it will accentuate if there are any flakes or lines on ur lips so,better u have well moisturised and exfoliated lip before applying., even tough bein a matte I didn’t find an issue with it of drying my lips after application

PIGMENTATION:

It is just awesome, like opaque in one swipe,I know people have had issues with the lacquer balm, but these are just perfect and as I have thin lips, the pointed tip of the bulled actually help in going through the corneres unlike the mac patent polish which have a rounded tip, so with unapologetic you don’t have any tugging issues and u actually can define the shape of your lips with this.

STAYING POWER-

Is again around 2 to 3 hours, and after yoh have had a mea,it will either wither out completely or would leave a line across your lip edge and wither out from ver your lips,so should be reapplied then

PROS of Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm Unapologetic

A pretty pink shade that can also be used as cream blush with littke dots across the cheeks and then blending (im not a blush person at all but I have used it twice very lightly and it looked cute)

The packaging is awesome..!!

Even tough after being matte doesn’t feel drying on the lips

Amazing pigmentation and a variety of colrs to choose from from daily wear pink and nudes to hot pink and oranges, there is a shade for everybody

CONS of Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm Unapologetic

The price.. err.. would I really pay that much for a lip crayon that too from the drugstore

Accentuates flakiness unlike mac matte finishes

RATINGS:

4/5

OVERALL THOUGHTS:

It’s a must have for people looking  for a bright pink but wearable color, also people who don’t realyy wanna spend 1450 on  a MAC impassioned lipstick, can go for this one as it’s the closest dupe,it also is a multitasker ,can be used as a blush also,as its matte so even if u have  oily skin it wont give yo a sticky feeling
