Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge Review
Price: 10 dollars
Product description: Optimise your beauty routine with this 3-in-1 multi-functional sponge by Real Techniques. The Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge versatile design evenly blends makeup for a smooth, enhanced finish. A great look starts with a flawless base.
Rounded sides blend large areas of the face with a repeated dabbing or “stippling” motion.
Precision tip covers blemishes and imperfections.
Flat edge contours around the eyes and nose.
Packaging: The Real techniques sponge is packed neatly in a transparent plastic case with all the product details printed on it. The sponge inside is placed in a hollow plastic sheet.
The sponge is bright orange in color. It has a soft porous texture which helps in effective and flawless application. The sponge has a very unique shape, it has one side which is flat and another end pointed to reach smaller places of your face like the sides of the nose and under eye area.
Application: I use the flat side to apply and blend my liquid foundation and concealer. The sponge works best for application of liquid products. I soak the sponge in water then squeeze it and press it gently on a dry towel to remove excess water. You can also keep it aside for 5 to 10 minutes before application to let any excess water evaporate. You should remember not to dampen the sponge with too much of water as it will drink up your foundation and you will get a sheerer finish.
I take two pumps of foundation and then dot it all over my face and neck area. Then I work the product with the sponge in a soft patting motion to get fuller coverage, you can also sweep it for a light and sheer coverage. The sponge makes foundation application easier than using a brush as you really don’t have to worry about streaky finish. It gives a pretty natural look to your face.
