My views on the Ponds BB cream:

The Ponds BB cream claims:
·                      Instant natural coverage
·                     Non-pores clogging
·                     Light, non-oily texture
·                     Lightens from within epidermis level
·                      Reduces dark spots
·                     Evens skin tone
·                      SPF 30 PA++ protects from UVA, UVB and visible light.

Ponds a little late still joining in the bandwagon of manufacturing BB creams had recently launched its BB cream in ‘white beauty’ range. I would just like to state here that Ponds range of creams have always suited my skin and as soon as I heard about the launch of the BB creams, I knew I had to try it out.
I have using this cream everyday these days and thought of sharing its review with you all.
My skin type is Normal to dry which tends to get oily in this hot summer. And in summers we hardly prefer to wear a heavy foundation so a BB cream always comes handy and works well to provide a nice coverage with an added glow. Both these claims are met by the ponds BB cream fully.

Ponds BB cream come in only 1 shade which will suit all. The shade falls somewhere between medium to fair and may suit both skin tones well. The texture is light and creamy and applies and blends well easily. I dab it in small dots over my face and massage it with my fingers and within seconds the cream blends into my skin perfectly giving a nice glowto my face hiding all the minor imperfections. I do not find a need to use an extra concealer as the minor acne marks and the pigmentation near the nose and mouth area seems clearly concealed.
The finishing of the cream is not completely matte. It leaves a little shine on the skin especially on the T-zone. So a light dab on my compact helps to set the cream and do away with the shine.

The glow and effect of the cream can be seen roughly between 5-6 hours on me. It is water resistant as I have a habit of spraying rose water on my face 2-3 times a day but I can’t see the cream melting away or losing its impact. It has an added SPF 30 to provide certain sun protection too.

Overall, I am happy with the cream and like the brightened effect it leaves on my skin. I do not find a need to apply anything else for hiding the light marks too as it provides enough coverage. I had not felt any side-effects using this one and it works equally well in an AC or non-AC environment. A good staying power with added SPF at such an affordable price is added benefits. Not to forget the girly and cute packaging looks sleek and the nozzle tip provides an ease of use.
Just the whitening and reducing the dark spots claim seem doubtful here. Also compared to Maybelline BB stick which I was using prior to this one provides a better coverage.

Ratings: 4.25/5
Final Verdict: This is another good BB cream in the market if you are looking for a light coverage everyday cream with an added spf and good staying power, then this is surely a nice try.
I do feel the shade range should have been provided as this 1 shade may not suit duskier skin tone well and may leave a white cast. Also if you have oily skin types then this may not suit that well.
Rest I am pretty much happy with this one for my normal to dry skin type.
