When it comes to cream blushes, Indian market has very few options and am glad that Oriflame has launched these cream blushes recently in 3 different shades and I am reviewing Sheer Berry which is a great shade for Indian skintones.
Though am not a big fan of cream and liquid blushes as I have oily skin, I like to keep one or two for winters. Cream blushes stay longer and are easier to use.
Price: Rs. 549. I got it for 400 bucks from a friend.
Packaging: Very cute tiny tubes in respective shades. Very travel friendly and easy to use. The tube does not dispense a lot of product and I find this type of packaging to be perfect for cream blushes.
Texture: It is a light weight cream, a water based one that is moderately pigmented and makes it safe for beginners. It blends easily and sets to a neat matte finish so I find this working for all skin types. I have super sensitive skin and this did not break me out at all.
I use my fingers for aplication and blending as that makes the job easier. However, you may also a stippling brush if you are too hygeine centric.
You can see from the above picture how sheer and natural it looks.
Shade: Sheer Berry is a perfect rose shade that compliments my yello toned skin very well. I would say this is the perfect one for Indian skintones among the 3 shades launched.
It stays on my combination – oily skin for 4 hours which is impressive. I prefer using it very lightly. The blush itself is sheer so you can rarely go wrong. It does emphasize any flaws in the skin so I feel it is best for those with clear skin or good skin days. I would suggest topping it with a setting powder or a powder blush of similar shade to make it stay longer and look more glowy.
Final Words: These are budget friendly cream blushes of great quality, safe for all skintypes and can be worn across all seasons. I wish there were more shades introduced. Sheer berry is a lovely shade for warm Indian skintone and I find the pigmentation decent as well. Travel friendly and easy to use. Worth every penny.
