Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream- No. 23

By Neha

I always wanted to try Missha BB creams after hearing good reviews about them.  I have tried almost every BB cream available in the Indian market but none impressed me because they all were just tinted moisturizers. So, when I got a chance to order this I quickly grabbed the opportunity. Today I will be reviewing it for you all.

My Experience with Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream- No. 23:

Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream comes in small plastic tube with a silver cap on top. The cap shuts tightly and for dispensing the product there’s a small nozzle which controls the quantity. The product looks classy due to the packaging and its travel friendly too.

It has a strange fragrance like baby powder or something (sorry but I can’t describe it). Some of you might not like it but it vanishes after 5 minutes of application so I’m okay with it. Because of the fragrance I assume it might have perfume or other fragrant product so if you have sensitive then do a patch test before applying it so that that you can see how it reacts with your skin.

I dot my face with it first and then blend it out using my fingers. I have tried blending this bb cream with brush, sponge and fingers and I think best way to blend it is using fingers. After my first application, I was disappointed because it left grayish caste on face but overtime it oxidizes and blends completely into skin. This one is available in 5 shades I guess, I have the shade-23 which is natural beige. The coverage is very good and it hides blemishes, redness and also reduces appearance of pores on my face. Most bb creams available in India are tinted moisturizers but this one is not like them. It’s like foundation with medium coverage as it gives more coverage than other bb creams available ink India market. I have oily skin and this bb creams gives dewy finish to my face. I was disappointed after applying it as I thought it’s not for my skin type. But before applying it, I use a primer first to prep my face and after application I powder my face which works really well for me.

After five minutes of application, it adapts into my skin and looks natural. So, you will have to give it some time to see the result. After application it brightens and adds sheen to my face even though it doesn’t contain any kind of shimmer. I don’t need any concealer after using it as it conceals my dark circles, acne scars and blemishes perfectly. The staying power is awesome some and it stays intact until you remove it with a makeup remover. The cream is waterproof and sweat proof which makes it perfect for summers. It contains mineral oil and parabens but I have not experienced any break out yet.

Final Recommendation:

I’m highly satisfied with Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream- No. 23 as it met my expectations. It’s not Indian bb creams, it is actually a blemish balm cream. I just need pea-sized amount to cover my entire face and after application it gives me even skin tone that I don’t find the need to apply concealer or foundation separately. If you are tired of using tinted moisturizers in the name of BB cream then this one is for you.
