Maybelline Colorsensational High Shine Lip Gloss Gleaming Grenadine Review

I am not a big fan of lip glosses. There are about 3-4 glosses hiding amidst my ‘n’ number of lipsticks in the stash. I love my lip colors to be highly pigmented and I always apply them to the full intensity. Colorbar True Glosses are the best lip glosses I have tried so far. When Maybelline launched these new High Shine Lip Glosses that promise to be light weight on the lips and give a good color pay off, I had to give a try.

Price: Rs. 350.

Packaging: Simple transparent packaging with a silver cap. The applicator is of good quality. Picks up enough product and helps in easy application.

Shade: Gleaming Grenadine is a lovely red gloss. Neither dull, nor too bright. It brightens up the face.

The transparent packaging lets you see the shade and also how much is left in the tube. It looks classy too.

Can you see the applicator? It is a bit slanted compared to the regular gloss brushes. Quite unique and helps in neat application. Nice idea Maybelline.

The texture is indeed light weight. The pigmentation is much better than the regular Colorsensational glosses that retail for Rs. 250. This shade being on the darker and brighter side, is well pigmented and covers my lip pigmentation too.

It is non-sticky and goes on smooth on the lips. I simply love the texture. It does transfer easily but I love how light it is so re-application is not an issue.

1. Light weight
2. Non-sticky
3. Affordable
4. Decent staying power
5. Unique brush that helps in easy application

1. Transfers initially

Rating: 4.5/5
Final Words: These high shine glosses are more pigmented than the regular Colorsensational glosses. Affordable, light weight and glossy finish make it worth a try. Perfect for those who do not like sticky, long stay glosses, yet prefer a dash of natural color on the lips.

P.S: Product was sent by the brand for consideration but my review is 100% honest.
