Maybelline Cheeky Glow Blush Fresh Coral Review, Swatch, FOTD

Maybelline Cheeky Glow Blush Fresh Coral Review, Swatch, FOTD

Guest Post By Monica

This year’s Delhi elections have proved one thing- “Don’t under-estimate the power of a common man”. However, I am one of those girls who always under- estimated the power of a blush. A good blush if used correctly can make hell lot of difference in your look (which I realized quite late).

But still better late than never, so here begins my tryst with the blushes. Since I am still a novice in this matter, so I decided to start with some budget blushes and hence got this Maybelline blush which is really selling like hot cakes these days.

What Website says about it:

CHEEKY GLOW BLUSH

For cheeks that glow with a natural finish.

Ultra-light weight, silky blendable powders.

Meet the new blush on the block. So silky and smooth, it blends flawlessly for the most natural finish. Soft texture for a natural hue. Easily blends with your skin color. Comes with 3 fresh colors for your pretty skin: Creamy Cinnamon, Fresh Coral, and Peachy Sweetie.

Price: 225/- for 7g

Shade:

The color that I am reviewing today is named Fresh Coral which is a nice matte pinky-coral color which looks more pinky with a hint of coral in it. On cheeks it gives a nice soft pink flush which looks very natural. It would suit all the skin tones well.

Ingredients:

Not mentioned on the pan and neither available on the Maybelline website.

Packaging:

The blush comes in a compact white pan with a transparent lid. I find the packaging very cute. It’s quite small and light weight hence, travel friendly.

Texture & Pigmentation:

The texture of the blush is really silky and smooth and not powdery. It’s feather light on the skin and blends smoothly without any effort. The blush is quite pigmented and the color starts showing on the skin in just 1 swipe but I like to build it with 2-3 swipes. Once blended it looks very natural and not at all OTT.

Staying Power:

The staying power is quite decent. On my combination skin with no primer underneath it stayed for around 5 hours though a bit faded but was still sitting there.

My Experience:

I am head over heels in love with this blush. It is my 1st serious venture into blushes and am loving it. The shade suits my fair skin quite well and looks very natural. I am just wearing it to every party these days and lovingggg it. J. It is I suppose best budget blush available in market these days and worth every penny you pay for it.

  2. Feather light texture which blends without an effort.
  3. Looks very natural on skin.
  4. Decent staying power of around 5-6 hours.
  5. Budget friendly.
  6. Cute packaging.
