MAC has always been my favorite brand for base makeup products. I somehow have enough experience over the years to choose the right shade for myself ( Touchwood) and not a single product has gone waste. Ever since I delivered my baby, I have very little time for makeup. I wanted a one step compact foundation and desperately wanted to get Kryolan but as always, ended up finding the perfect match at MAC.

Smooth to blend, easy to work with: provides a full range of coverage. Light diffusing: softens lines, creates a fresh, flawless finish. Good on all skin types. Rs. 2300 for 10 grams.
It is a neat one step compact that has everything you would expect for travel. It has a built in mirror and also a sponge in a separate compartment below the foundation. Very hygienic and neat. My perfect travel partner.
NC 40 was my perfect match though it looks quite dark and yellow in the pan, on my skin, it blends beautifully and gives a very natural even look.
I use a sponge to apply it and it gives very good coverage. In fact it is said to be a full coverage foundation and great for photography. I do not need a concealer when I use this and it easily takes care of the uneven skintone, pigmentation, dark circles, acne scars etc.
The best part about the packaging is that the product is covered with an aluminium foil in order to prevent dust particles from falling into it. How thoughtful.
It is a cream compact that dries to a powder finish hence you do not need to top it off with a powder again. It might make the skin look very powdery. It is great for those with combination-oily skin as it gives a complete matte look and keeps skin oil free for more than 8 hours. In fact, after a few hours it looks even more natural. I have got tons of compliments with this on and this has been my go to foundation for the last few months. It has never looked ashy or cakey in photographs and is ideal if you are going for a wedding. I would say it’s a must have for brides with oily skin.
Pros of MAC Studio Tech Foundation:
1. Great coverage
2. Travel friendly packaging
3. Keeps skin oil free
4. Great staying power
5. Photographs very well.
Cons of MAC Studio Tech Foundation
Ignore my messy wet hair. You can see the glow and freshness it imparts, evening out the redness on the cheeks and open pores near the nose.
5/5. I wish I could give more.
