MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation NC41 Review, Swatch, FOTD

It has been quite sometime since I wrote anything about a MAC product for you all. So here Iam back with a bang again with one of my favourite and must have products from my ultimate favourite brand MAC.

Since I do not have perfect skin, Iam forced to use foundations for special functions atleast. But in the hot summers, most of the liquid foundations melt as I sweat alot. I discovered this beauty last year and since then it has become a must have for me.
This beauty is named as “MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation”. Yes it is a combination of a concealer, foundation and powder, so an all in one makeup product. I was suggested this shade NC41. Iam NC42 in Studio fix liquid foundation.

MAC says
A one-step application of foundation and powder. Gives skin a smooth, flawless, all-matte, full-coverage finish. Long-wearing: lasts for up to eight hours. A real all-in-one. The choice of pros, and longtime favorites of M∙A∙C fans.

It comes beautifully packed with an inbuilt mirror and a cute sponge as well. There is a separate compartment for the sponge so it remains hygienic.

Quantity:15 grams

My Experience:
It has a silk like texture, very smooth. It is non-powdery and non-chalky. This shade NC41 is a good match for my skin. It gives amazing coverage and most of my blemishes and darkness around the mouth and under eyes are covered. The staying power is fantastic. It stays for more than 6 hours even though I sweat alot. This gives me a matte finish and hence suits oily/combination skin better. On dry skin, this may cause flakes.
I keep this mainly for travelling purpose as I do not prefer carrying liquid foundations for trips. This is easy to apply and the sponge is of good quality. Those with normal skin may spray some rose water on a kabuki and then use it for that lovely dewy finish.

I would say this is the perfect compact foundation for those with combination/oily skin. It does not emphasize the open pores. It does not break my skin out eventhough I have very sensitive skin.
It is very well pigmented and also spreads easily. One compact would easily last you one year even when used everyday so it is definitely worth every penny.

My Rating:5/5
