MAC describes Sunbasque as ‘Peach with Pearl’ shade.

My take on Sunbasque:
My second blush from MAC is Sunbasque. I am more of a traditional person by heart and love to dress up in Indian wear more often. So the makeup also should compliment the outfit. Sunbasque being more of a gold toned blush perfectly compliments my traditional look and makeup. I adore this blush <3.

Shade: Though MAC describes the shade as a ‘peach with pearl’, this shade appears to be more of a shimmery peachy pink-gold with the gold being highlighted much more than the peach tone on the warm-toned Indian skin. It may look darker in the pan, more like a bronzer, still the blush adds a color plus shimmer that makes it different.
I love the warmer, sun-kissed blushes the most as they are a safe bet to be worn anytime and Sunbasque clearly adds a sunkissed glow to your cheeks without looking OTT. Apply it lightly for a day wear or layer it up to add the shimmery golden glow for the night-outs.

Packaging: Standard MAC blush pack- matte black plastic case with a transparent lid. It is prone to damage so carry around safely especially while travelling.

Staying power: The staying power is great too. Once applied, the blush stays in place for the entire day so no need of a touch-up. Gets removed using any normal cleanser and no shimmer is left behind.

Texture & pigmentation: Sunbasque falls under the sheertone shimmer range of MAC so the pigmentation is medium to buildable which is perfect for a shimmery blush as you can layer it up to add the desired intensity. The texture is velvety smooth and gets applied easily. The shimmer is very fine and adds a perfect golden glow to the otherwise muddy looking shade. There is no funny smell attached with the product.

Pros:
- Gorgeous peachy gold shade.
- Would flatter the warm Indian skin tone perfectly
- Amazing texture
- Medium to buildable pigmentation
- Great staying power
- More of daily sort wear of shade if worn lightly.
- Shade would go along quite nicely with your traditional wear and makeup.
Cons:
- High price.

Ratings: 4.7/5
Final Verdict: A lovely blush which adds warmth, color and even highlights your cheeks beautifully. A must-have shade for the warm toned girls.
The colour is sooo pretty.. And compliments you so well
