I just realized that for some strange reason, there have been no MAC reviews here for quite sometime. How can that be? Where did the MACoholic in me go? This has been haunting me since two days so here Iam with one of my favourite blushes from MAC called Breezy. I would call it the perfect blush for fall.
It falls under the Sheertone Shimmer category, which means it is sheer in texture and does contain shimmer. The shimmer is very mild and not at alarming. I personally like the sheertone shimmer blushes as you can never go wrong with the pigmentation. It can be built up slowly, hence there is no way you can go overboard and look clowny.
Price: Rs.1350 for 6 grams
Packaging: It comes in the usual MAC Black case with a transparent flip cap so you can see the shade clearly. Very travel friendly.
The texture is very smooth and it is very easily blendable. The shade is a beautiful plummy pink which suits all skintones very well. Dusky beauties should definitely check it out. The shimmer is not scary and looks very subtle once blended. I would call it as the perfect blush for bridal makeup.
The pigmentation is decent. As already mentioned, the sheertone shimmer blushes are the best for beginners.
The staying power is also good. I have combi/oily skin and it stays for more than 5-6 hours and eventually fades. I use a fluffy blush brush like Inglot 15BJF and it helps easily blend it out.
The main reason for me picking up this blush was because the bridal makeup artist used it on me for my reception makeup and I totally loved how it made me glow.
Final Words: If you are looking for a nice plum/berry pink blush for evening/party wear, and do not mind shelling out 1350 bucks, then go ahead. You will surely find yourself using this alot so it is definitely worth it.
