Superlative style & state-of-the-art science merge. A new formula in a more saturated intense black with extra-volumization, expansion & curl delivered.
Price:Rs.1100. It may have increased now.
The Shade: Bad Bad Black. Very aptly named, it delivers a rich black colour to the lashes.
Packaging: Simple mascara packaging. The shade name is specified at the back of the tube. It is a silver-grey coloured tube, quite bulky. Maybe because of the quantity.
I have thick long lashes already but this adds that extra oomph and makes it look beautiful yet natural. However, for dramatic look, 2-3 coats can be added. The texture is just perfect. Neither runny nor thick. It does not clump the lashes. It is dark black which I love.
The only issue that I faced with it is it dried up in the tube after 8 months. Okay I know mascaras expire soon but I love this one alot so it kind of disappointed me a bit. I tried using the dried out mascara as well and to my surprise, it did not cause any irritation. It is not waterproof but that is not an issue for me as I do prefer mascaras that are easily washable. For me, it is a perfect mascara. It curls, adds length and volume without giving a fake look. That is all I look for in a mascara. I just wish it was cheaper.:(
The Lakme Eyeconic Mascara has currently taken over the top position in my vanity so this is definitely going for Back To MAC. Below is a picture of just one coat of this mascara on my lashes.
Final Words: Unless you are a MACoholic aka MAC addict, I dont see any reasons for buying this. It is expensive and there are fantastic mascaras like the Colossal and Eyeconic in the market that do the same job for a less rate.
