MAC Marilyn Monroe Collection Deeply Adored Lipstick Review

How is the week coming along? Here is something to pep you all up. The Marilyn Monroe Collection Lipsticks have been selling like hot cakes and I wonder if they have any now. Anyways, here is my favorite one of the lot, Deeply Adored.

Price: Rs.1050. This is my first lipstick from a Limited Edition and I wonder why they have to be priced a little more than the regular ones.
Packaging:  It has the Marilyn Monroe Picture. While the regular lipsticks are matte black, these ones are glossy black.

Shade: It is a deep cherry red. Neither too dark, nor bright. Just a perfect winter shade. It compliments all skintones very well. It has a tinge of pink too so it looks maroon in the day and a bit of berry in the night. I swatched it side by side with diva and I found this to be prettier as it has more red than diva. Well, that’s a personal choice.

Finish: It comes under the matte category but I must say the texture is quite smooth and soft.It is not very drying. It is highly pigmented and one swipe is all you need for hot red lips.

The staying power is fantastic. It survives a full meal. It does not  bleed or transfer. It does not give me red teeth like most red lipsticks do. This shade is very wearable and I do not have to think twice about it wearing it anyday.

Final Words: Deeply Adored is a deep red with a hint of pink. It suits all skintones and can be worn anytime, anyday. Marilyn Monroe is definitely one of the best collections from MAC.

    Fab LOTD. hats off… You look so nice, with this bold color.Is it not-drying even after a few hours???Are you using any lip pencil too with this???
