Hope you all had a wonderful Independence Day. I fell sick and hence could not blog actively for the last few days. Anyhoo, here I am with the review of the most gorgeous gel eyeliner in my stash -MAC Dark Diversion. Kill me for not reviewing it before. This reminds me, I have tons of products pending to be reviewed.
I had earlier bought it when it was launched in 2011 from MAC Me Over Collection and once again recently when I spotted it in the store ( the last piece of course).
Surprisingly, the texture still remains creamy and new.

Like all fluidlines, this also comes in a small glass jar with a black screw cap. Very sturdy and travel friendly. I wish it came with a free brush.
This has the creamiest texture of all the gel liners that I have tried till date. Gel liners tend to dry out if not closed or stored properly. I prefer keeping them upside down in the box provided. It glides smoothly on the lids and does not smudge for hours. It can be blended immediately to use as an eyeshadow base for your pink/purple eyemakeup or even for smokey eyes.
Dark Diversion is a beautiful dark plum that is a very unique shade and extremely flattering on the eyes. It has very tiny shimmer that goes almost invisible when applied. I can wear it day and night and forget about it smudging or fading.
I wish it becomes permanent and I would keep repurchasing it forever. It is a beautiful change from the regular black/brown eyeliners.
Please ignore the undone eyebrows. I barely have time for parlor visits these days.:(
MAC Dark Diversion fluidline is one of the most beautiful shades of eyeliners I own. The creamy texture, amazing staying power, non smudging factor, and of course the classy packaging all make it a must have in your kitty. Do not miss it if it gets launched again.
P.S: A close dupe for Dark Diversion would be Colorbar Prunella. Do check it out.
