When it comes to Limited Edition products, I never go really crazy unless I really like the shades and the packaging. I have missed out on a lot of LE products in the past. When the RiRi collection came out here, I had 2 things in mind, one is the RiRi lipstick and the other one, this blush. When I went to MAC, I saw this and then somehow skipped it as it was above my budget. I just walked out with the lipstick. I came back home and dreamt about this blush whole night. I went the next day and the MUA told me it is already booked for someone else but the person hasn’t yet come to collect it. That made me want it even more. I said ” See, am pregnant and am craving for this blush, give it to me or my baby will curse you.” He laughed loudly and ended up giving it to me. Mission accomplished!
It is described as ” Warm Copper” by MAC.
Price: Rs. 1600
Packaging: Lovely golden pink packaging, truly classy.
Shade: It is a burnt peach with no shimmer but just slight sheen. It is quite a unique shade as it has a tinge of golden in it. No rose or pink tones. It isn’t completely matte. The texture is smooth and easy to blend. Non-powdery and does not go patchy. It has a slight orange undertone that reminds me of Coppertone but a tad lighter than coppertone.
It compliments warm skintone very well and is great when paired with red and brown lipsticks.
The sheen shows up in the late evenings and makes it apt for all occasions. It is a great bridal shade and apt when paired with deep red lipsticks.
It is well pigmented as it falls under satin finish.
The smooth texture, earthy shade that is universally flattering and great for Indian skin, the cute girly packaging, all make this a stunning blush and worth a buy.
Here is me wearing the blush
So what did you pick from the Rihanna Collection? Which is your favorite earth toned blush?
