M.A.C Select Sheer Pressed Powder NC40 Review, Photos

So an oily skinned girl like me always keeps hunting for that perfect compact powder that would keep her fresh all day. After a lot of trial and errors with so many compacts, here is my HG pressed powder.
It’s the Select Sheer Pressed Powder from MAC. I have repurchased it twice so you can very well understand how good it must be.

About the product:
Micro-fine, sheer and silky. Pressed for portability. Goes on lightly. Won’t shift your shade or leave its mark. Lets skin’s natural vitality and freshness glow through. Comes with its own suede-finish sponge. Blurs lines. Makes skin look flawless.
Price: Rs.1650 for 12 grams

I cannot stop raving about this product. The texture is the smoothest of all and the powder is so finely milled that you can hardly feel that something is there on your skin. I found my perfect shade NC40. I wear NC42 in the Studio Fix Fluid. I mainly use this to set my liquid of cream foundation. It looks very natural and gives a soft dewy finish to the skin. It also soaks up the excess oil and keeps the face fresh for about 6- 8 hours. Highly impressive product from MAC.

The packaging is simple and classy. It comes with a mirror and a good quality sponge. The sponge is really soft but I use it only when I do not have my The Body Shop Kabuki Brush around.

1. Keeps skin oil-free and fresh
2. Good quality sponge provided
3. Smooth and soft texture
4. Looks extremely natural
The price

Rating: 5/5 ( In spite of the price tag, I would keep buying it for the rest of my life. It easily lasts me one year)
Final Words: Must-try product from MAC. This is the only compact that gives a no-makeup yet fresh look to the face. It can be used on bare face as well as a setting powder over a foundation. Working women should definitely check it out. It is a blessing for oily skin.
