MAC launched Nubile as part of the Posh Paradise Collection which came last year but you can still find few pieces in some stores. I was on the hunt for an eyeshadow base for my black, blue, pinks and purples. Groundwork is my best friend when it comes to neutral eyemakeup. While Painterly looked quite ashy on my lids, I would say Nubile is almost perfect.

While it is not exactly my skintone, it goes just a little lighter and makes a great base. It has this lovely pearl finish with a sheen that brightens the eyeshadows especially the metallic ones.

Price: Rs. 1350. The quantity in one tub would last you a lifetime. Trust me.

If you are fair-medium skintoned, then this flesh toned base would be your best friend if you are into eyemakeup.

The texture is creamy but you need to be quick in blending else it turns patchy. That’s the nature of these paint pots basically. Nubile has a slight pink tinge.

I have swatched a low quality eyeshadow multiple times on the right side and on the left, it is just one swipe over Nubile.

With these paint pots, the amount of eyeshadow needed is very much less. They do not crease and stay put for more than 8 hours on my lids.
