M.A.C Mineralize Eye Shadow Ice Review, Swatch, EOTD

Ice Ice Ice Baby! What a song to sing this summer. So does it have something to do with this review? Definitely yes! I have a beautiful Icey shade of eyeshadow from the MAC Apres Chic Collection called Ice.

It is a highly shimmery pearl shade of eyeshadow. It can be used all over the lids for party makeup and also as a highlighter for the browbone.

Price: Rs. 1350. It is a baked eyeshadow. The quantity is definitely huge.

As you can see, it has some peach swirls mixed with a shimmery cream shade. I tried using it both dry and wet and it works well both ways. My brush was able to pick up enough product hence it is very pigmented. The only drawback is the texture. It is super dry and the glitter is hard. I could blend it easily with a fluffy blending brush but one or two glitter particles keep getting into my eye and irritation occurs. So be very careful while applying it.

Once you blend it, it stays for a good 2-3 hours over a primer. Without a primer, not much because of the chunky glitter.

It is very apt for parties and if you love wearing glitter, you should check out this range. I am not much into glittery makeup as I mostly go for matte of pearl finish eyeshadows.

I was hunting for a champagne shade to wear all over the lids and this came at the right time. I have created a simple wearable look here.

On my wheatish skintone with yellow undertones, this eyeshadow looks like a pearly white with a hint of pink. This is something I have never tried before but quite liking it. You can see how I have blended it and it looks quite wearable even during the day.

Rating: 4/5
Final Words: MAC Mineralize Eyeshadow Ice is a gorgeous pearly white shade with a hint of pink and peach. It is a unique shade and can be used all over the lids and as a highlighter. The texture is a bit dry and it stays better when used with a wet brush or over a primer.

P.S: Product is a PR sample, honest review as always
