I hear Archie’s Archie’s everywhere. Presenting the “Prom Princess” from the Archies Girls Collection.
Price: Rs.1600 ( I fell in love with the shade and the texture that I took it blindly to the billing counter and my heart skipped a beat seeing the bill. Why MAC, why?
The packaging is the main attraction. I am definitely not throwing the box this time. MAC blushes do not come with a brush or a mirror.
I generally prefer the sheertone finish blushes from MAC. This one, being satin finish, is definitely very pigmented so you need to be extra careful while swirling your blush brush. The texture is soft and not so dry. I could easily blend it within few seconds. The staying power depends on the intensity. If you apply it with a heavy hand, it stays put till you remove it. I have combination-oily skin and I found that this did not fade even after 5-6 hours. I use Inglot 15BJF Blush Brush to apply my blushes.
It is a gorgeous hot pink blush with a purple tone in it. I am planning to get Daddy’s Little Girl lipstick to match this blush. But It goes well with Red lipsticks as well. It is a unique shade in my collection and a must try if you like pink blushes. It looks pretty bright in the pan,but on the skin, it gives a subtle pinkish glow.
Rating: 4.5/5 ( I just wish it wasn’t this heavily priced)
Final Words: Prom Princess is a lovely hot pink with a violet hint in it. It suits all skintones and is quite a unique shade.
