Description: The Rouge Caresse lipstick has a flutter of kissable, soft, colour. Its delicate texture glides onto lips creating a veil of colour with a luminous shine. It adds a desired pop of color with a meltingly soft application.
The lipstick contains light oils, crystalline wax, transparent blenders and pearl pigments that deliver true color with a weight-less comfort.

My take on the L’Oreal Rouge Caresse lipstick Mauve Cherie:
L’Oreal Paris quite recently launched these new lipsticks and I thought of playing safe by ordering a MLBB shade online from nykaa. The lipsticks are thought to be launched in competition to the Revlon lip butters that became an instant hit among many of us last year. So let us see the review of this particular product with a bit of comparison in the end.
Shade: ‘Mauve Cherie’ is a medium mauve pink shade that would suit fair to medium skin tones really well. Under bright light the mauve shade is highlighted more otherwise it looks a perfect MLBB shade with the right mix of mauve + pink on me in natural lighting.
Texture: L’Oreal Paris rouge caresse lipstick is very moisturizing and can act as a blessing for yourdry chapped lips. It has light to medium pigmentation and 3-4 swipes give the desired colorto your lips.It is quite comfortable on the lips and light in texture. The finish is glossy and so a lip balm can be skipped totally. If one has pigmented lips and this being a lighter shade, it may not hide the pigmentation of the lips well. The shade doesn’t bleed and won’t settle in fine lines. Fading is quite even and no stain is
Staying power: This is basically more like a colored lip balm with high glossy finish. So the staying power is roughly around 2-3 hours if swiped 3- times. It hardly survives a meal and even fades away considerably after light snacks even. So better keep it handy for touch-ups during the day.
Packaging: The silver metallic case with the transparent cap and the Loreal logo in the middle (of the case) looks classy and quite similar to any high end lipstick packaging. The bullet inside is sturdy and even though it is soft n texture, I don’t see any melting problem as for now.
• A pretty MLBB shade.
• Creamy and quite moisturizing texture.
• Medium pigmentation making it easy to wear
• Lovely packaging
• Decently priced
• Glossy finish.
• Shade may not suit dusky skinned beauties.
• This light color may not hide the lip pigmentation well
• Low staying power
• This shade is easily dupable.
Rest, if I have to compare this to the Revlon lip butters (which I already own 3), I would easily prefer Revlon lip butters any day over the Loreal rouge caresse lipsticks as the shade selection is wider and the lip butters are much more pigmented than these.
Final Verdict: This is more of a tinted lip balm if swiped lightly. Though the moisturization it provides is a major plus, still I am not bowled over by the shade or the pigmentation. If you are a lover of lighter texture and looking for a daily wear shade, then I do recommend this lipstick.
