My views on the new Lakme enrich #142:
This shade was on my wish list as soon as I saw its swatches on Lakme FB page and other blog posts. The new Lakme enrich contains some pretty shades to suit everyone’s need and you can find some pretty mauves, pinks and corals in here.
Shade: Shade #142 is a medium toned orange leaning a little more towards coral. The shade is a totally wearable shade of orange that is quite suited for the ongoing summer season. The shade would look quite flattering on fair to medium skin tones.

Texture: The lipstick is very creamy and applies easily. It has medium to buildable pigmentation and one needs to apply it atleast twice to get the full color on to the lips. It leaves slight sheen on the lips when applied which fades away within an hour to give more of a matte finishing.
Your lips will be made healthy, moisturizing and radiant from within with the help of this lipstick. The creamy rich texture of this makes your lips look fuller and shapely.

While the creamy texture makes the lipstick glide on easily but it makes the bullet too vulnerable. I try to be very careful while applying it as I fear the bullet would break at the slightest pressure so better keep it in refrigerator.
Staying power: The shade stays on around 3-4 hours on me with light meals in between. However, you need to do a touch-up after a full meal. It’s easily transferrable too.
Pros:
  • Very pretty medium toned orange color.
  • Nicely pigmented
  • Creamy and moisturizing texture.
  • Shade does not bleed or settle in fine lines.
  • Has an added sunscreen to protect your lips.
  • Decent staying power
  • Quite affordable.
Cons:
  • The packaging is quite boring and the bullet inside is too weak that can break at the slightest pressure applied.
  • Easily transferrable.
  • Shade does not survive full meals.

Ratings: 4/5 (+1 just for the flattering shade)

Final Verdict: If you are looking for a nice wearable orange/coral shade then I would definitely recommend this color to you.
