Offering an instant glow, this SPF solution has cucumber extracts that keeps the skin cool, moist and protected from the scorching sun. That’s not all! The souffle also comes in different shades to fit every skin tone from Shell, Pearl and Marble, this face magic souffle is everything you need to add that magic in your day.
Price and Quantity: Rs. 160 for 30ml
Packaging: The Lakme Face Magic Skin Tints Souffle is re-launched by the brand recently. The product retails in a glossy silver carton box which has all the product details printed on it. The souffle is packed inside in a small pot. The pot is made with glass and comes with a grey screw open cap. There is flat lid on the pot to prevent spilling of the product. Overall, the packaging is sturdy and travel friendly. But, being a pot case it is definitely unhygienic as one has to dip in fingers to take out the product.
Shade: The souffle comes in 3 shades. All the shades have strong yellow undertones which make it more ideal to suit Indian skin tones. I bought the shade shell which claims to suit wheatish skin tone. As there were no testers at the counter, I had to blindly go with the shade. Shell has very strong orange undertones which looks quite dark on my Nc 43.5 skin tone. It leaves my skin lightly tanned, this is the problem with Lakme products as they are formulated with only 3 shades! If you are Nc 45 and plus, you will find this shade working decently on you. The soufflé has a typical Lakme products fragrance. It doesn’t feel very strong but moderate and fades away after some 20 minutes of application.
Formula: The soufflé has a nice watery liquid consistency. It glides smoothly on the skin and blends easily with your fingers. The formula is neither dewy nor matte, it does leave a light satiny finish which makes skin appear healthy.
Coverage: The brand claims to provide a glow with just a hint of tint that is exactly true with the product. It provides light coverage which can work well for daily usage. So, if you are looking out for some coverage to even out your blemishes, marks or spots then this product is not for you. After layering the product some more the skin appears more polished and brighter but doesn’t mask any imperfections.
Staying power: It stays for 2 hours on my combination skin. As it provides a soft glow to the skin, it does make my t zone shiny after application. So, I do recommend mattifying the product with a compact powder on top for combination to oily skin types.
