When it comes to eyeliners, gels and pencils are my favorites but once in a while, I do pick up liquid ones as well. The Royal collection by Sabyasachi has some stunning shades and this gold attracted me alot.
Price: Rs. 290. At this price, I think they are really affordable and you will definitely not pick just one shade.
Golden is a true yellow gold that shows up on my medium skin. I think this is a great shade for fair-medium skin and might look too bright on dark eyelids. Anyways, that depends on how you carry it off.
It has a thin not so runny texture, more like a gel. I wouldn’t say, it is highly pigmented and with one dip, you would not get the desired intensity. You can layer it twice and if layered more, it looks thick and though it does not peel off or flake, I just don’t like the heavy look. It is not water proof but I need a makeup remover to take it off completely. It dries very quickly and does not budge until you rub it harshly.
Packaging wise, it looks rich and classy as it is transparent this time and you can clearly see how much of the product is left inside. The brush is thin and helps in neat application.
1. Beautiful Color
3. Thin Brush
4. Stays until you remove it
1. Not very pigmented, needs to be layered
2. May not suit all skintones
3. Not easy to apply on lower lash line ( I prefer a felt tip for that)
Final Words: Lakme Absolute Royal Shine Line Golden is a true golden liquid eyeliner that is apt for weddings and parties. The shade might not suit everyone so do try before you purchase. I love the shade and prefer just one layer on my lids. For 290 bucks, I think they are a steal. They have some awesome shades for party wear that should not be missed.
Havve you tried the Lakme Absolute Shine Eyeliners?
