Apologies for the long gap ladies. Priorities, priorities, priorities of a mom.:) Hope you got it! Anyways, here is me with a review of one of my favorite loose powders – Kryolan Translcucent Powder in the shade TL9. This shade has a yellow tone so it suits skintones between NC40-NC42 in MAC.
Price: Rs. 400
A very finely milled powder perfect for setting a variety of creme foundations. Great value for money when using often to set your everyday makeup.
Kryolan products usually do not come in a very attractive packaging but the quality speaks so it does not really matter. It comes in a grey colored tub with a tight cap. I usually prefer to keep this in the box it comes in. Since it is a loose powder, it does get messy at times, but once you get the hang of it, you know how much is really needed and how not to waste it.
The powder is really thin and fine. It is a great setting powder and keeps skin oil free, yet gives a subtle glow. It has a satin finish so cannot call it a matte powder. It does not enhance dry patches unlike some loose powders if over applied. TL9 is perfect for those with medium olive skintone. I use a large powder puff to press the powder on my skin or sometimes a fluffy powder brush to just dust it lightly if am wearing a full coverage foundation. This powder does not give much coverage but acts as a great finishing powder.
For the price, it’s a great buy. Just that it’s a little to carry around. Otherwise, a fantastic product. I usually use it over Kryolan TV paint Stick and this gives a beautiful finish.
