Khadi fruit face pack and Banjara’s Rose water review

Friend’s post by Nidhi

Hi friends! Today I am reviewing 2 products together as I bought and am using them together to create a face pack for my normal to dry skin.

About the product:

Khadi Fruit Face Pack is a wonderful combination of herbs which keeps you cool, clean and comfortable.
How to use:
Mix 5-10gm. Fruit face pack in milk or rose water and apply on neck and face. Wash it with cold water after 5-10 minutes.
Papaya juice, akhort oil, olive oil, orange extract etc.

Price: 80/- for 50g

This is a finely milled face pack that contains tiny granules. One can see these tiny granules even after making a ready to use paste of this face pack which I think are of some fruit extract. The pack has a mild yet beautiful aroma which does not feel artificial in any way.
I mix this face pack with the Banjara’s rose water(reviewed below) to make a slightly thick face pack which looks very similar to your normal multani mitti face pack. I apply it for 15-20 minutes though it dries up in 10 minutes too and then wash my face with normal water to achieve a squeaky clean skin with a nice glow and no extra dryness at all. The best part is the tightening effect and the cooling sensation one gets after applying and washing the face pack. It clears the skin from all dirt and impurities and even helps to control oil/sweat on the face which is quite common in this hot weather. I even apply it on my husband who has oily skin and the results are simply great. All the oiliness seems to vanish within 10 minutes (that’s the best time he can put the face pack on :P) and even the sweat is controlled to a few hours.
I use this face pack once or twice a week depending on the exposure to the outside hot weather and it had really helped me to take care of my skin and not to get any break outs even in this hot weather.
Pros of the Khadi fruit face pack:
  • Appropriate for all skin types
  • Helps rejuvenate the skin giving a nice glow
  • Cleanses the skin and help to preserve moisture content
  • Helps to prevent minor skin problems
  • Provides a great tightening and cooling effect to the skin.
  • Cheap and easily available online.
Cons of the Khadi fruit face pack:
·         The glow does not remain for long.
·         Gives a tingling sensation for a few minutes after application.
Ratings: 4.5/5
Banjara’s Rose water cleanses, moisturises and tones the skin. It nourishes your skin and gives you the young and refreshing look.
It can be used as a face pack with glycerine.
Price: 60/- for 500ml
In my eyes: Well, rose water is an indispensable item in everyone’s skin care routine especially in summers. I have a habit of spraying rose water on my face 3-4 times in a day apart from using it in the face pack too. I am also using the Fab India Rose water but that I prefer carrying around in my purse when I am stepping out of the house. Also the no. of times I use the rose water daily, I needed something in bigger quantity and so zeroed on this Banjara’s rose water
This is clear liquid with no artificial smell of roses in it. It does what it claims as of nourishing the skin and refreshing it when sprayed. As the bottle cap does not permit spraying it directly, so I fill it in a spray bottle and refrigerate it then keep on using it as and when I prefer. It instantly relieves all dullness and actually refreshes the skin that smells lightly of roses and for long.
Pros of Banjara’s rose water:
·         Cheap yet effective.
·         Huge quantity.
·         Easily available online
      ·         No artificial color and fragrance.
Cons of Banjara’s rose water:
·         Bottle packaging does not permit spraying the liquid directly.
Ratings: 4.5/5
Final verdict: I whole heartedly recommend both these products to everyone if you want to look and feel fresh and clean this summer.
