Inglot YSM Cream Foundation Shade 51 Review

Are you a foundation junkie? Do you love trying out new foundations? Are you looking for a foundation for this winter? Do you prefer light weight foundations? If you say ” yes” to all the above questions, then this review is for you. It is the Inglot YSM (Young Skin Makeup) Cream Foundation.

Quantity: 30 ML/1 US FL OZ
Price: Rs.970

What the brand claims:
Peach extract and strong matifying agents ensure this sheer long lasting, lightweight foundation provides a
smooth, natural looking finish whist leaving the skin radiant and comfortably plumped up.

   Ingredients:

 Packaging:
It comes in a very cute small tube with a screw cap. I was so attracted by this cute tube packaging as the MAC Studio Fix Fluid ( My Holy Grail Foundation till date) comes in a glass bottle and is so difficult to carry around. With this, that problem is sorted out. I can just throw it in my handbag and roam anywhere.
All Inglot products come in a cardboard box and I would suggest not throwing them away. They are really useful when you are shifting to another place.( Trust me, I recently shifted my house and I know how difficult  it is to carry your entire makeup to another place without breakage/leakage).

The tube dispenses the right amount of product and it does not become messy as the texture is just right.
However, Just wipe the lid after and the mouth if the tube every use. The shade that I got was 51. Iam NC42 in the MAC Studio Fix Fluid. If you are somewhere between NC41 and NC43 in MAC,  pick this blindly. It just adapts to the skintone very well and looks very natural. I generally prefer foundations with yellow tones so this one suits me perfectly. However, being a high end brand, there are many shades.

As you can see, it is specified on the tube and also on the outer cover that it should not be used under the eyes. I have used it under my eyes many times and I did not experience any issues so far.

It is a very light weight cream/gel like texture. You cannot expect much coverage from it. It is more like a tinted moisturiser so keep it for those good skin days. I personally prefer this in the winters as I do not need a moisturiser before applying it. It keeps the skin well hydrated and gives a neat flawless finish. It will not cover any acne scars/pigmentation/dark circles etc. Very oily skinned women please stay away from this as it may make you skin greasier. I have combination skin which is doing good in the winters so this suits me well. Make sure you use a good setting powder else it will make your T-Zone oily.

I generally sweat alot after foundation application but this one is so light weight that it immediately sinks into the skin and brings out the natural glow. Special thanks to Jyo and Ankita for suggesting this to me. I have used it so much that this is the only foundation that I will be finishing up soon. That being said, I would also add that if you have oily skin, there is no use investing in it. The best time to use it is during the winters and your good skin days. For me, it is a complete winner.<3 Thank you Inglot for making such fab products.

Rating:5/5
Final Words: Highly recommend for normal-combination skin. Those who need more coverage may mix it with some concealer and use it.
