It’s Inglot month on IBJ and recently I hauled few products from the brand (click here). I am new to the brand and this is my first eyeshadow and I totally love it.
Price: Rs. 300 for 2.7g
Beginning with, I want to acquaint readers who are new to Inglot like me with the terminologies. Their eyeshadows are available in 4 variants – AMC (Advanced Makeup Component) which is matte with little shimmer, AMC Shine – metallic & shimmery finish, DS – Double Sparkle, Matte & lastly in Pearl finish. They are available in 2 shapes – round & square pans; both are priced equally but the quantity in round pan is less than the square pan.
The eyeshadow I picked up is DS 457 and it has loads of golden micro-micro shimmer in it. The color is beautiful soft brown and great for everyday wear. Though it is double sparkle, it does not look OTT when applied on eyes. I prefer using a base (black/grey) if you want it as a lid color to really bring out the color. In crease, for blending it works just fine on its own.
The pigmentation is simply superb; a single swipe does the work. The texture is smooth & light even though it contains shimmer & sparkle. It does not feel gritty at all. The eye shadow works just fine without a primer but with primer, it takes the color to another level. The staying power is great; no creasing at all. It lasted me all day until I decided to take out.
Smooth & creamy texture
Refills are cost effective than buying full variant
Staying power with primer is easily 8-9 hours
Contains micro shimmer
Does not crease
Not tested on animals
Here, I have done a look with DS 457. I have applied a black pencil eyeliner as a base and then I went over it with DS 457 eyeshadow up until the crease and blended any harsh lines.
I love my first ever Inglot eyeshadow! DS 457 is a beautiful soft brown color which contains shimmer & sparkle but at the same time is apt for everyday wear too.
