Forest Essentials Multani Mitti Facial Ubtan Review

Forest Essentials Multani Mitti Facial Ubtan Review

I am very much attracted to this brand Forest Essentials, mainly because of the ingredient list. They are completely natural products and very mild. It is an Indian brand and we got to support our very own brands too right? I recently hoarded a couple of products from this brand. I am big fan of ubtans. I have already reviewed the Narangi and Nagkesar Ubtan for you all here. I managed to finish it within the 6 months period and now am using this Multani Mitti. Read on to know my views.

Claims:
The next best to “fresh” is the “dehydrated” where everything in the herb remains intact, only the water content is removed. The finest quality herbs that are used in these powders are pure and unadulterated. Therefore, wherever practical, it is beneficial to use the dehydrated herb. When juices, milk, yogurt or rose water is added to these powdered herbs they are “hydrated” and the fullest benefits of these natural products in their entirely may be had. Perhaps not as fresh as nature intended, but closest to nature, the next best thing.
• Deep cleanses • Corrects imbalances • Purifies

An ideal treatment for blemished and acne-prone skin, it has a high content of pure Multani Mitti which is a rich alkaline soil, Jadhikai, Sandalwood and Green Gram powder. Its alkaline content corrects imbalances and neutralizes skin tone. It is mineral-rich and anti-inflammatory, thereby being the perfect remedy for acne and blemishes. Its deep-cleansing action unclogs pores, lifts excess oil and impurities and purifies the skin, leaving it clean and fresh.

• Suitable for blemished and acne-prone skin types.
Weight: 50 gms
Price: Rs.495

It is not just normal Multani Mitti, but it also contains Sandalwood and Green Gram Powder. It has coarse particles, which I think are the grounded green grams. The fragrance is something I completely love, Well, many of you must be knowing that Forrest Essentials products smell divine.
Packaging: These ubtans come in a normal plastic tub with a golden cap. I am planning to travel with it soon as I really cannot do without it.
How I apply: I mix half a spoon of this ubtan with Forest Essentials Rose Water and apply all over face and neck. It dries quickly and I splash some water over the face and massage for a few seconds and wash off. The granules act as scrubbing agents and help remove blackheads and dirt. Do not scrub if you have pimples.

Results: My face is squeaky clean and brighter. It does not remove blackheads completely but to an extent and with regular usage, prevents them. Since it controls oil, occurrence of pimples is reduced. This ubtan is mainly recommended for oily skin. I use this as a face pack only twice a week, as multani mitti tends to remove all the oil from the face and can make it dry if used often. A moisturizer is a must after using this. I store the jar in the fridge as they can catch fungus easily.

Rating: 4.75/5 ( Expensive but totally worth it)
Final Words: I know it is expensive for multani mitti which you even get for Rs.20 in the market. But the ingredient list in this is better and safe. It is a multi-purpose poduct. It can be used as a face wash, a scrub and a face pack. It is not really difficult to finish it in 6 months. I am highly satisfied with my purchase.
