Forest Essentials Hand Pounded Organic Fruit Scrub Review

So what happens when two crazy friends go mall hopping every week and never miss a chance to peek into the Forest Essentials Store there? Obviously they go bankrupt! That’s what happens with me and my bestie. We always say ” Let’s just take a look and come back, we are not buying anything”, and then come out of the store with a huge FE bag. On one such casual mall-goody days, I happened to just smell this scrub. The smell was horrible. I said ” Yuck”. The SA said ” Always go for skin care products that smell badly. They work really well”.

The scrub particles are neither too small, nor very coarse. It has more of the fruit extracts so if you need more exfoliation, you tend to take more product. This way, you would end end up finishing it very soon.

The scrub exfoliates and cleans the skin very well. The skin is brighter and younger looking after regular usage. The skin also looks polished.

As I already mentioned, some may not like the smell. But the effect is good so it is worth it.

It does not irritate the skin, nor does it make it oily. It suits my combination – oily skin and am sure it is suitable for all skin types. I even leave it as a face pack after scrubbing and then wash off after 10 minutes. It is like a treat to the skin.  It does not remove or reduce blackheads immediately but it definitely cleans the skin from within and even helps acne scars fade slightly over a period of time.

Rating: 4.75/5
Final Words: For the quantity, the price is steep. If used twice a week, you would end up finishing it 2 months. It removes dead cells and makes the skin glow. It has fruit extracts that help acne scars fade slowly.
