My views on Etude House Sleeping Pack:
Being a memebox addict, I just couldn’t stop myself from ordering the Etude House memebox that I received last month. I got a total of 6 full sized products out of which I started using this pack first as I had never used any sleeping pack till date :P. So after using it for 20+ days, here is my review on the product.
Etude house offers a variety of sleeping packs and on can pick it directly from their website (yes, they ship worldwide now). I was happy to get the Firming up variant as being 30+; now my skin does needs that extra moisture ;).
The pack comes in a cute pink squeeze tube with a flip cap on top. Etude House products are known for their cute packaging and this pack too looks pretty. The tube is easy to squeeze and the small outlet regulates the amount needed for a 1 time use.
The pack is crème in color and smells fruity. The fragrance is nice and not overpowering at all. I take out pea sized amount of the pack and rub gently on my hands before massaging it in upward and circular motions on my face. The nice smell and buttery smooth texture of the pack feels relaxing on the skin and I massage it for 2 -3 minutes before leaving it on my face & neck overnight.
In the morning, just washing the face with lukewarm water is all that is needed to get the fresh look. Skin feels soft and hydrated and no signs of oil or stickiness can be felt or seen.
It is important to use desired quantity of this pack for one time use. More than needed may cause the skin to look oily and greasy. I did that when I used it the very first time; my skin felt sticky and greasy which made me question this product. But from then on, I just stick to a pea sized amount, massage it and that is it. The pack gets nicely absorbed into my dry skin and there is no oily feel at all.
I use it once on alternate nights and love how my skin feels on applying it and even after washing it off. A perfect product for normal to dry skin types especially during winters.
- Cute packaging.
- Nice fruity fragrance
- Buttery smooth in texture that is easy to massage in.
- Gives instant hydration to the skin.
- Just washing off with lukewarm water is enough to remove it.
- Post washing it leaves the skin soft and moisturized.
- Provides additional benefit of firming up aging skin.
- Didn’t cause my skin to break-out.
- Too much quantity may make the face oily and sticky.
- It may not suit oily skin tones as it is too greasy.
- Not available in India
Final Word: Though the sleeping pack does what is needed and my skin loves it feel a lot in these cold winter nights but don’t know whether it would work that well in hot summers too on my dry skin. I love this concept of sleeping pack and would continue to follow it in my skin care regime even after finishing this off but with products that are more easily available to us here.
