DIOR was never a brand which caught my attention and I never intended to pick a skincare that too for nails for the Cult favourite brand. Although my first high end purchase was from DIOR and that was back in 2009 and it is still my lucky charm. I picked this nail cream last month from DIOR counter in Mumbai but is mostly out of stock.
DIOR CREME ABRICOT Nail Cream Review
Price: 1850/- INR
This is what brand says –
What it is:
A rich, creamy salve that nourishes and conditions cuticles.
What it does:
Created in 1963, Dior’s “Cult-favorite Magic Multi-tasker” is the key to truly terrific nails. This creamy salve encourages nail growth, improves nail strength, and conditions cuticles. It can be massaged into the base of nail pre- or post- polish.
-Apply a small amount at the base of each nail in the evening (can be used over polish).
-Massage into the nail and cuticle using circular movements.
-Allow to penetrate overnight.
Texture – The colour of the cream is light peachy orange shade and it is very sticky in nature which is why it sticks to nails pretty easily and do its work. The cream is very gooey in nature and is sticky and messy to look at but it is easy to work due to emollient nature of the cream. I’m pretty sure that it will last me at least a year if used twice a week.
Usage – I use the cream twice a week and massage my nail tips and cuticles with it for 10 – 15 min and then go off to sleep and in morning I can see the softness it gives to my nails. We all use hand cream but always ignores our nails whereas it is the essential part of skin care as it is mostly in contact with water and thus very sensitive . I highly recommend you not to use this in day time as it can be so messy; the best is night when you are just about to doze off.
Packaging – By pictures you can easily judge that it comes in small white tub with “CD” logo on top and there is foil to cover and I have not thrown it as it keeps the messy stuff inside and doesn’t allow it to flow around. The 10 ml tub will last be easily a year for sure.
Overall Thoughts – I do find this to be little pricey but the end results are really noticeable, so if you are in market for something effective and don’t mind a price tag I would highly recommend you to try this. It is messy to look at and feel gooey too but still the product itself is rich and gives desired results.
