Colorbar True Gloss Bitten Red Review

This review has been pending for quite a long time so apologies for the delay. These True glosses launched by Colorbar are a godsent for those with pigmented lips and who are longing for long staying glosses. Actually, these are liquid lipsticks. The shade Iam reviewing today is called Bitten Red, very aptly named, it is a true red shade, perfect for that hot red pout.

Packaging: It comes in a long transparent glass tube with a doe foot applicator. Looks very classy and travel friendly too. All Colorbar products come in a cute silver coloured box too. Very easy to locate the shade you want. The sticker at the back also speicifies the shade name.

Price: Rs.495 for 3.8ml. I dont think it is really expensive for the quality and quantity it provides.
My Experience: This is a highly pigmented lipgloss that would cover any lip darkness/pigmentation. It is not at all drying, gives a nice glossy look to the lips and makes the lips look fuller and plumper. I have very thin lips and am totally loving these for the plumping effect it gives.

The doe foot applicator is of very good quality and just one dip is enough to cover the lips evenly. The gloss is non-sticky and spreads well easily. The staying power is just fantastic. It stays as long as you remove it. You would need a makeup remover to take it off completely.

It is a true blood red and is apt for any season. It suits all skintones very well. The below swatch is just one dip of the gloss. See how pigmented it is.

Rating: I would give this a 4.5/5
Final Words: Must have glosses in your vanity. Total value for money. The only con that I could think of is it stains alot. By mistake, if you go wrong while applying and mess up, it becomes very difficult to clean/correct it.

Have you tried Colorbar True Glosses? How did you find them?
