Chambor Sheer Delight Ultra Matt Oil Free Foundation Review, Swatch, FOTD

Hey Friends, how was the weekend for you all? I know that the current situation has made us all angry, even I was feeling low this weekend and did not have any mood to go out. I hope no other girl gets to face such tough situations hereafter. Together, we can make a change. Nirbhaya is alive inside every Indian girl. Anyway, life has to go on.
Moving on to today’s post, Iam here with a review on the Chambor Sheer Delight Ultra Matt Oil Free Foundation. Please do not be surprised if you find a lot of base makeup reviews here. Iam a foundation junkie and love experimenting. I have sensitive skin so Iam very careful about what I put on my skin. Iam very fond of foundations that come in a tube. I was so attracted by this packaging. My dear friend Parita suggested this foundation to me as I have combination skin and this suits combination-oily skin the best.

What the product claims:
Discover the sheer delight of perfection.

With Chambor’s Sheer Delight Ultra Matt Foundation, it is time to bid oily and uneven skin goodbye. Here is a foundation that gives you the ‘no-makeup’ feeling. It comes with a matt finish that helps you stay shine free all day.

Price: Rs.745 for 30ml
Packaging: It comes in an attractive navy blue classy tube packaging with a screw cap. All Chambor products come in a cute cardboard blue box, easy to store and carry around.

The nozzle is neither too small nor too big. Just the perfect size. The consistency is thick so there is no chance that the product would come out unless you squeeze the tube.

Ingredients:

Shades: It comes in 3 shades, Natural, Ocher, Ginger
I chose Ginger as it has the perfect yellow tone that I require.

Texture: It has a thick mousse like texture. But it is easy to spread and blend. Once blended, it gives a nice demi-matte satin finish. Skin feels smooth and soft.
Coverage: Medium-full coverage. I even doubled it up as a concealer and it helped conceal few acne scars on my chin. It minimized the open pores to an extent, not much. But am happy it did not make them appear larger.

Staying power: I kept it for 8 hours on my skin and felt that after 5-6 hours, I just needed to blot my nose. I did not feel the need to use a setting powder on top. But if you have very oily skin, you definitely need to powder. Overall, highly impressive.
Does it oxidize?: Not at all
Whitish cast: No. Just make sure you choose the right shade as they have only three. Ginger would suit MAC NC41, NC42 and NC43 easily.
Hydrating?: Not much. If you have dry skin, skip it. I have combination skin, yet I do need to use a moisturizer before this foundation during the winters. I don’t think I would need to do that in the summers.
Photographs well? Definitely! It looks very natural in the pictures.I use it with fingers or a sponge.

Rating:4.5/5 ( Wish the shade range was better)
Recommendation: Yes, if you have combination/oily skin, do give it a try. Affordable, lasts long and good quality. Iam very much satisfied and would keep using it often.
