Product Description: Getting moisturized whiter looking skin has never been this easy! Formulated with moisturizing rose complex composed of rosehip, glycerin, and shea butter keeps skin feeling smooth and moisturized while making it look whiter, brighter and more radiant. Dermatologist-tested.
How to Use: Apply a small pea-sized amount on index finger. Blend evenly using your fingers or sponge.
Warning: For external use only. When using this product, keep out of eyes. Use your usual cleanser to remove.
Packaging: The Avon Simply Pretty BB cream retails in a small light pink colored tube with a white screw top cap. There is a small thin nozzle with a hole to squeeze out and take the product for application. The nozzle is perfectly sized, making it convenient to dispense small amounts of product. The tube is light weight and can be carried easily in makeup bag. The bb cream has a mild fragrance which fades away really fast after a few minutes of application.
Shade: There are 2 shades available which is light and nude. The nude shade is for medium skin tones and light for fairer skin tones. I was definitely not expecting to get a good match for my Nc 43.5 skin tone, but the shade selection is really bad. I picked the shade nude. But, the shade nude itself is a very light beige shade with strong pink undertones to it. The shade after blending leaves a super white cast on my skin tone.
Formula: The texture of the bb cream is like a fairness cream. It is smooth but doesn’t blend easily on the skin. It has a liquidy consistency and you would have to work the product with fingers to get even application. The formula is very disappointing, it leaves a white cast on the skin, causes breakouts, makes skin greasy, provides no coverage and it neither comes with any SPF!
Pros of the Avon Simply Pretty BB Cream:
- Easy to carry tube
Cons of the Avon Simply Pretty BB Cream:
- Does not have any feature of BB cream
- Makes skin greasy and oily
- Gives an uneven finish
- Does not provide any coverage
- Does not contain SPF
- Leaves a strong whitish cast
- Does not blend easily
- Ingredient list is missing
- Not easily available
Final words: The Avon Simple Pretty BB cream is a very disappointing product. I would not recommend it to anyone!
